Thank you so much for being a guest on the Wedding Pros Podcast!
In order to produce the podcast, we have some general requirements:
We will do a recorded video call online for the interview, we have not been posting the recordings to YouTube. Don’t be too focused on the video portion. The audio is the most important part.
If you know how to record audio separately, we would really appreciate it. But we will send a link from Zoom too. The Zoom link is part of the location on the calendar invite.
We will go through the outline of the episode prior to starting.
It is a relaxed conversation that lasts about 30-45 minutes long. Sometimes it goes longer if I can’t stop talking.
We will chat for about 5 – 10 minutes before we hit record, so we can chat through any questions you may have!
Audio – We know not everyone has a podcasting mic, so we try to record as high quality audio as possible. Try to record in a quiet room, that doesn’t have much echo. Anything is better than computer audio recording, so if you have a lapel mic, or even using the recorder on your phone will be an option. We will walk you through how to get the highest quality audio on Zoom too.
Headphones – to avoid feedback, we wear over the ear headphones during recording.
We edit it all – all you have to do is upload your video and audio files after the podcast to a link provided and we will take it from there. But if we are using only Zoom it will automatically upload, so you don’t need to worry about it.
- We record the entire zoom call with audio, just to be safe.
